General Information About Filing a Claim
At BLG, we believe the best way to file a full and complete claim is to speak directly to one of our Insurance Specialists. The following outline should help to make that process efficient and as stress-free as possible.
If there is any thought that you may have a claim, but you aren’t sure, call us. We’ll look into all the options you may have.
Here are the basic steps to filing an insurance claim:
1. Call BLG at 609-645-1700
Call as soon as possible, even from the site of your incident, even if you aren’t at fault. You’ll be asked a few detailed questions like:
- The names and addresses of all persons involved
- The hour, date, place and facts of the accident or loss
- The names and addresses of any witnesses
You may also be asked for information from:
- Medical Bills
- Auto Repair Bills
- Your copy of the police report.
- We will ask for a written statement detailing your incident and will need to receive it as soon as possible. You may send it to :

- Keep records of all of your expenses and paperwork related to the accident. Any expenses you as a result of the incident may be reimbursed under your policy.
